Researchers have found that children who are not ready for kindergarten
have to struggle to catch up. Some have a hard time catching up
at all. Getting School Ready is a project in King County
to:
- Help parents, caregivers, early childhood educators and kindergarten
teachers support children to get ready for school, and
- Help schools
be ready to meet the needs of their students.
